Year 3

Year 3 Jemison have continued their consolidation of the skills they have learnt this term with a further tournament. We know when we should dribble, pass and shoot in a game.  We reflected on why certain teams win and why others may not, to improve our own skills....

Year 3 Obama played in a mini tournament today focusing on dribbling, passing, shooting and keeping possession of the ball to score goals and win point.

Year 3 Jemison have applied their prior learning of passing, moving and creating space into a tournament where they can move their ball up the court. We had lots of shots at the net!

Year 3 Jemison have brought together their football skills over the last few weeks into a level 1 tournament. The class worked well in teams to keep possession of the ball.

Year 3 Obama focused on developing their passing, moving and dribbling skills to build up into a mini game focusing on keeping possession to win.

Year 3 Obama focused on shooting techniques and developing their understanding of the importance of being accurate when aiming at a target.

Year 3 Jemison have been introduced to the netball shooting technique and have begun to understand the importance of being accurate when aiming at a target.

Year 3 Obama applied passing and moving skills to score points against another team.

Year 3 Obama showed understanding of passing and dribbling, to create space whilst keeping possession of the ball. They developed this concept into mini games.

Y3 Jemison have combined their understanding of passing and moving to score points against another team. They used their prior learning of passing, moving and shooting.

Today's learning for Y3 Jemison focused on applying their prior knowledge of passing and dribbling to create space and keep possession.
