Using a map of the school grounds to navigate to key points.
Child’s Mental Health Week
We have been discussing our traits and how they are similar to other children in class.
FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS
This week, in PSHE, the children focused on anger. They discussed healthy and unhealthy actions in response to feeling angry.
Orienteering
Setting up a cone course and record our times across 6 routes.
Anger
We are creating our learning journals before we start our 'Anger' module, to see what we know already.
Dance- Street Art
Moving using music as an emotion. Street art is our stimulus.
Islam- why are these times special?
Identifying the key celebrations during Ramadan and Eid- linking to why they are celebrated and their significance.
Spreadsheets
We are using the dice and counting tools to work out probability.

Creating initial movements based on our street art tag.
Being Responsible
We are writing letters to offer advice to a young person who is having troubles with children at school. We are advising who to contact for help and how to approach the situation.
Class Poem (By heart)
Over the half-term we have been learning to recite Lesley Gibbes' poem: School Day.
Games – Invasion – Football
Pupils will start to apply simple defensive tactics during a game to prevent attacking opportunities.
Gymnastics – Counter Balance & Counter
Start with a counter balance on apparatus, move out of them, and travel to a new apparatus, forming the start and middle section of a sequence.
