This week, in PSHE, the children focused on anger. They discussed healthy and unhealthy actions in response to feeling angry.

This week, we focused on dribbling using our feet and keeping possession of the ball.

Year 2 Goodall have today combined passing, dribbling and receiving using our feet in order to keep possession of the ball.
Gymnastics- Pathways- Exploring curved pathways
ZIG-ZAG PATHWAYS ON APPARATUS
This week Y2 Kahlo have applied champion gymnastics to develop different pathways. The children have worked hard to create movements that link together on apparatus.
Water colour mixing
As part of Y2 Goodall's focus on Henry Rousseau, we have been perfecting blending and accurately painting using watercolours. This will help us with our final piece 'Tiger in a Tropical Storm'
Amazing arrays
Year 2 Goodall have been busy using arrays to support their understanding of multiplication, we've even made new arrays for our partner to calculate!

Now we know all about the properties of materials, it was time for Kahlo to make good use of our new Terracycle recycling scheme!
Inside a Hindu Mandir…
Year 2 Kahlo have been exploring the prayer routines inside a Hindu Mandir. We know the importance of each routine inside a Mandir and designed our own Puja tray.
P4C with Kahlo Class…
We began the session by collaboratively creating our own set of rules for future P4C lessons. After that, we held a vote on whether we would rather be a 'Cowardly Lion' or a 'Brave Mouse,' leading to a thoughtful discussion where we used sentence stems like "I agree"...
