We have done an amazing job of using the predictable phrases from our class text 'The Three Little Pigs' to help us act out the main part of the story!
Predictable Phrases
This week we learnt that in our class text the Pigs and The Wolf say some predictable phrases repeatedly! We acted out the part of the story using the key phrases! Children used voices to bring the characters to life.
Investigating Syllables
This week we enjoyed investigating syllables in words within the song Singing Syllables. Once the children were familiar with the song, we clapped the syllables of the words mentioned as they sang. They enjoyed the rhythmic challenge of words such as...

In History this week we learnt that supermarkets didn't exist 100 years ago, so you had to visit the small shops to buy the goods you needed.
