Being Responsible
We are writing letters to offer advice to a young person who is having troubles with children at school. We are advising who to contact for help and how to approach the situation.
We created movements selecting and applying Samba choreography into a routine as a class.
We aimed to use our bodies to perform technical movements with control and rhythm with communication, problem solving and self motivation.

For Year 2 Goodall's final dance lesson of the term we have consolidated all our learning, performing a sequence with extended movements.

Dribbling
The focus of our learning in PE was to develop our dribbling in order to keep possession and score a point.
We have developed different ways of stopping a ball with our hands.
Games – Invasion – Football
Pupils will start to apply simple defensive tactics during a game to prevent attacking opportunities.
Gymnastics – Counter Balance & Counter
Start with a counter balance on apparatus, move out of them, and travel to a new apparatus, forming the start and middle section of a sequence.

The aim of today's lesson for Year 2 Goodall was to develop dribbling in order to keep procession and score a point

Explorers- Partners in character
Today in our dance lesson Year 2 Goodall have explored developing a character using drama and emotion with their partner. Each partner was either an explorer or a jungle animal, can you guess who is which?
