We organised the sentences into themes. We know that paragraphs help to organise writing and it makes it easier for the reader.
We know it is important to share a worry if we experience one. All classes now have a worry box!
We know the life cycle of a hen and can write all about it. We even wrote some sentences to describe what our chicks look like. Super writing!
The Elephants have been very busy this week exploring the different word classes that we need to write our super sentences!
After hearing that Captain Beastlie had been spotted in a seaside town near us, the children were inspired to write! They used their phonics to sound out and write descriptive phrases for a wanted poster and pinned them up around school! We hope we find him!
We have used different types of sentences from our paired writing to create a shared write paragraph. We tried to include long and short sentences as a well as sentences with subordinate clauses. We want to make our own recounts as interesting and descriptive as possible to retell the events at The National Space Centre. Watch this space for our Big Writes!
