We had an interesting discussion about where the children thought the Roman Empire came in history in relation to the stone age/bronze age and iron age. Children discussed how the weapons and army of the Roman Empire seemed more advanced compared to the weapons of the stone/bronze age and deduced that the Roman Empire must have been later in history.
