We held a Road Safety Assembly, organised and led by our fantastic School Councillors. A huge well done to them for their hard work and dedication in raising awareness of this vital issue! During the assembly, pupils learned about the importance of staying safe on the roads, covering key topics such as:
- Looking both ways before crossing the road.
- Wearing bright clothing, especially during darker months.
- Understanding traffic signals and pedestrian crossings.
- The importance of safe car parking.
The School Councillors did a brilliant job of engaging the whole school, using interactive demonstrations and clear explanations to reinforce these essential safety messages.
At Birkwood, we believe that road safety education is crucial. We are proud of our School Councillors for taking the initiative to promote this important issue.
