This week we enjoyed investigating syllables in words within the song Singing Syllables. Once the children were familiar with the song, we clapped the syllables of the words mentioned as they sang. They enjoyed the rhythmic challenge of words such as ‘abracadabra’ and ‘hippopotamus’.
