We are looking for an outstanding EYFS and KS1 practitioner who has experience of or who is ready for senior leadership responsibilities. We are looking for a dynamic practitioner to lead our 26 place Foundation Stage 1 (am & pm) and 40 place Foundation Stage 2 unit. You will lead the early years – driving improvements, developing staff and ensuring high quality learning. You will also play an integral role in supporting the development of the overall school as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

We are seeking an individual who will:

  • teach Foundation Stage 1 in the first instance
  • possess excellent leadership and people skills
  • demonstrate a thorough understanding and passion for learning in EYFS and KS1
  • provide strong direction and management of the teaching and learning of all pupils in the relentless pursuit of raising standards
  • take a lead role in the monitoring and evaluation of standards across all key stages
  • work collaboratively with staff at all levels to develop school policy and strategy
  • embrace our vision and ethos
  • demonstrate a real passion for improving children’s lives and commitment to ensuring all children make excellent progress
  • engage with and support our families
