We at Birkwood: the staff, Governing Body, children and parents are always striving to make our school a better place to be. In our most recent School Improvement Work, we have identified the field as an area which we can improve. Exclusively, www.birkwood.org.uk can reveal exactly how we plan to do this! Mrs. Allen and Mrs. Whitfield have met with The School Council and an outdoor education specialist and selected an adventure packed range of facilities to give our school campus a new look! The work will start imminently and the plans received a very excitable response in Monday’s Assembly – we take this as a seal of approval! This work is being carried out thanks to the whole Birkwood Community contributing to our School Improvement Planning. The final designs were voted on by The School Council, showing democracy’s role in making major decisions. Well done to everyone involved, we can’t wait to see the finished article!
