The children in Year 4 love to get creative, and today was no exception. This time they were kneading dough and creating hedgehogs, snakes, faces, frogs and plaits ready to be baked in time for tea. The smell was wonderful, and as you can see everyone had a fantastic day. We learnt about the different flours used to make bread, the effect that yeast had on the dough, and we finished off with a tasting session of 6 different types of bread. Many thanks to Janet from Warburton’s bakery for an exciting day.
